MBS School of Planning and Architecture (MBS SPA) organized the Third Session of EXPERT LECTURE SERIES AY 2023–24 (even semester) on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. The Title of the Lecture was “Lighting and Acoustics “.

The Guest Expert for the session was Mr. K.L Malhotra, Director of KLM Design, India.
As Deputy Director (Engineering) at the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Mr. Malhotra pioneered groundbreaking research, earning five Akashvani National Awards. Prestigious Projects including Parliament Library Complex, and Vidhan Sabha Jaipur, to name a few are motivation to the next generation for aiming higher skies. #Engineering #Broadcasting #Acoustics

Triumph of COLOSSUS 2024! 

MBS School of Planning and Architecture ( MBS SPA) organized COLOSSUS 2024, an Annual Sports Meet for the students. Scheduled from April 18 - 20, the MBS SPA campus was buzzing with the energy and excitement of participating students who showcased their best talents and sportsman spirit.

Throughout the event, students from all five years presented healthy competitive spirit in indoor and outdoor sports, including Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Carrom, Chess, Darts, Table Tennis, and Football, to name a few! 
Special mention for MBS International School, to support the organization of the lofty event by offering their outdoor sports facility. 

The Grand Finale was organized at MBS International School followed by the Prize Distribution Ceremony. The chief guest for the ceremony, Mr. Atul Wadhawan, Principal, and Mrs. Taruna Mongia, Senior Coordinator @MBSInternational School, encouraged the winners with certificates, medals and trophies. 

The three-day event was concluded in the spirit of unity and teamwork, brightening the bond of comrades, both on and off the playground.

Reflections on *COLOSSUS 2024* include heartfelt gratitude to the Management Team of MBS Group of Institutions, the Administrative Team at MBS SPA and MBS International School, the Faculty Team and Students at MBSSPA. Consistent Support and Tireless Efforts of all were instrumental in making this event a resounding success! MBS SPA shall always continue to nurture the vibrant sports culture within their students that may add to unforgettable memories, year after year!!!

Embarking on their academic journey, our first-year students at MBS SPA, accompanied by faculty members, had the opportunity to explore the majestic city of Agra. From the iconic Taj Mahal to the imposing Agra Fort, and the historical sites of Sikandra and Fatehpur Sikri, every moment was a testament to India’s rich heritage. As they journeyed back, they also had the opportunity to immerse themselves in nature at Bharatpur Sanctuary and delve into history at Bharatpur Palace and Museum. Exploring the rich Academic Heritage of Udaipur at Amarakh Ji Temple was a profound experience for our students and faculty. Our recent Academic Tour organized by MBS SPA was a testament to the adage ‘Wherever you go becomes a part of you somehow.’ From Ahar Museum to Bagore ki Haveli, City Palace to Saheliyo ki Bari, Fateh Sagar Lake to Jagdish Temple, and finally documenting Amarakh Ji Temple, every step enriched the understanding and appreciation of the cultural roots.
