Congratulations! Anukriti Marwa, Muskan Sharma and Nikita Saigal of Batch 2019-2024 for participating in an International Architectural Competition- Tiny House Community- organised by Arcace Canada and Securing Third Position.

They had proposed a creative design of a four-unit circular cluster, as the circle is considered the best shape to depict unity and encourage community. The four units were attached to each other, yet each one has a private entrance away from the others. Each module has identical measurements for all the dwellings allowing it to be relocated and repurposed on-site. The materials used to build the units are natural and sustainable. Many other sustainable ideas are proposed to make the design environmental.

MBS SPA has yet again attained a feather in the cap. India Today Magazine has acknowledged the role of MBS SPA in building future architects and has recognized the institution as one of the top 10 colleges among those setups in or after the year 2020 in its July 2022 issue.

As a part of concept building classes, A site visit was conducted for 3rd year students of MBS SPA at the under construction office complex for petronet LNG limited situated in Dwarka Sector 14.The structure is completely based on Green Building concept and uses advanced steel structure technology. Students explored office building in its technical perspective. In this visit the students were able to know more about advanced steel structure design. They observed inclined steel columns, fly ash bricks, joints of steel structure, hinged supports and the services in the basement of the building.

"Congratulations!  MBS SPA students -Mehak Gupta, Swarnahiya Ganguly, Vishal Yadav and Ajun Naagal for winning Solar Decathlon India 2021-22 challenge in the “Community Resilience Shelter Division”. They were awarded in a glittering award ceremony held on 1st July 2022 at Taj ManSingh Hotel, New Delhi.

Their architectural contribution in the team Tejasvi- a collaboration of 14 students coming from different academic institutions and streams of expertise is worth appreciation.
