Deepawali, the festival of lights is indeed the most awaited and the most celebrated festivals of India. People in every nook and cranny of the country welcome the festival with enthusiastic gestures. Lighting of Diyas and candles all around the house, worshipping the Laxmi Ganesh to summon health and wealth and bursting crackers are the chief rituals of the festival.
MBS SPA extracurricular team along with student representatives planned an online Deepawali celebration. After back-up preparations, the team floated a Google meeting link to all the students and faculties, inviting for the event. To set the festive mood students gave song and dance performances. Also, through skit performance students conveyed the message of going green this Diwali. The event was concluded with the beautiful poem written by Vishal Yadav of Second year section A.
To give greeting to the faculty members of MBSSPA the management of MBS SPA organized a Deepawali celebration in college also, following the social distancing norms. The college was decorated with Rangoli and Diyas to bring the festive vibes in the campus.
Prof. V.K Bugga and Director Bijay Dash shared their kind words and wished everyone "Happy Deepawali". Faculties enjoyed the gathering in the OAT of the campus and shared their experiences of online teaching.
