GREEN TERRACES IN CITIES

MBS School of Planning and Architecture has taken an initiative to provide students with interesting interactive sessions with experts in the field and utilize this time for their exposure and learning. To achieve the above MBS School feels proud to organize a webinar on “Green Terraces in Cities” on Saturday, 18th September, 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

 

Presenter:

Ar. Meenakshi Pawar, Architect - Planner

 

Meenakshi is qualified as an Architect and after a period spent in practice & research, she undertook Masters in Planning, Specialization in Environmental Planning. Her areas of interests are Landscape Ecology, Urban Biodiversity, Environmental Design and Architectural Heritage.

 

She has a diverse experience of a decade in research & working with Government’s Think Tank like DDA and NIUA. She has worked and written extensively on Biodiversity Parks, Urban parks and water bodies of Delhi.

 

She has published & presented the papers in International & National conferences. She has taught at several universities and colleges and continuing as visiting faculty to SPA, Delhi, ITPI etc.

    Teachers Day- 2021-22
    On the occasion of Teacher’s Day on 5th September 2021, MBS SPA is organizing an Online Event on the topic: “Pour your heart out”. The event is aimed to appreciate our educators for their immense work and the positive impact that they continue to make even while social distancing. If you are connected with your teachers, write a few lines in their honor, mention them, and the post will be shared on the social platform. You can also dedicate a poem if you have a fondness for literature. Even posting some of the old pictures with them on social media with a heartfelt caption would make them feel appreciated and revered.

    MBS SPA had organized an online competition on the occasion of Teacher's Day under the theme "Pour your heart out". 
    Congratulations to Nikita Sharma, B. Arch 4th Year Student, MBS SPA, Dwarka, New Delhi for winning Runner's up award for the Competition.
