The event was started in construction yard,
by lighting a bonfire by Director MBSSPA Prof. Bijay Dash, President of MBSSPA
and Prof. V.K. Bugga, along with students of MBSSPA. All the teachers, students
and administrative staff gathered around the bonfire and wished happy Lohri to
each other.
As Lohri is considered as New year for farmers and
marked as day of harvest, popcorn and peanuts were distributed to everyone, of
which some were fed to the fire, as part of tradition and then were eaten by
all.
All the faculty members were then invited to
seminar hall and were served samosas and tea. The event was then concluded by
wishing Lohri to each other.
